Carpenters' Apprentice Pay
- Starting pay is approximately $13.73 per hour.
- A small educational grant is offered to offset travel during daytime
training.
- Training and pay progresses as the apprentice completes "units"
(approximately 40 hours of training).
- Raises based upon completion of two units per term (80 hours) in
school
and 750 hours
of on-the-job training.
- Upon completion of the 7th term, each apprentice is encouraged to
select
one or more
major areas to study.
- Journey level status is achieved when 18 units and 6,000 hours
on-the-job
experience are completed (approximately four years of apprenticeship).

the above listed agreements, these rates may not apply. Please contact the
